2020
The Consumer Data Right goes live in Australia, with the major banks the first data holders to share data.
2021
Open Finance ANZ founded as an independent, community-led initiative.
2022
Published our first Open Banking Ecosystem Map for Australia.
2024
Launched Women in Open Banking ANZ, and published our first Aotearoa New Zealand Open Banking Ecosystem Map.
2025
Released the 2030 Vision for the Consumer Data Right in our Australian ecosystem report.
2026
Regulated open banking goes live in New Zealand under the Customer and Product Data Act. 9 reports published, 400+ organisations mapped, 2,000+ community members.
